"In-May Tea Artistry" is about In-May's enthusiasm for sharing the joys of Chinese tea as a tranquil life style with friends through her presentations at club meets, tea parties, and cultural events.

In-May Liu, Tea Artist and Tea Ambassador

Mrs. In-May Liu has a Master of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Colorado State University and has worked in the food and nutrition field as a consulting nutritionist, Chinese cooking class teacher and now a passionate Chinese tea ambassador.  She enjoys the artistic, cultural and healthy aspects of Chinese tea and loves to share the knowledge with friends through tea preparation and tasting demonstrations.

Mrs. In-May Liu was born in Shanghai, China, and was educated in Taiwan.  She grew up in a tea-loving family and has been immersed in an environment of tea enjoyment through her entire life.  In 2004, she started to form her tea demonstration classes for church Christmas teas, afternoon tea parties with friends, and the twice-yearly "Campus of Courses" offerings by Boscov's Department store in Frederick, MD.  Her presentation skills have been reported in several articles in the Frederick News Media.  Please read the quotes from "Media Reports" link of the webpage.

In-May would like to express her gratitude to Elizabeth Chung (pictured on the left, standing) for her advice .  Liz is the founder of the non-profit cultural organization www.lifeanddiscovery.com in Frederick, MD.  Please visit the website and discover many Chinese cultural classes available for the whole family in Federick!
